I can help to bridge the gap between your wishes and the realities of labor and birth, helping you navigate medical recommendations with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind. Together, we will build a rock-solid foundation of knowledge and preparation, transforming the birth you’ve envisioned into a safe, calm, and confident reality. Even when plans change, you should still be able to look back on you birth and feel you were respected and informed through the whole process.
Insurance Accepted
Your birth energy should be spent on connection, intuition, and peace—not financial stress. To make sure your growing family feels fully safe and held, I intentionally structure my practice to accept insurance. I am proud to offer this access to Tacoma, Silverdale & Olympia area families, ensuring you get the unwavering, nurturing support you deserve.
Tailored Birth Plans & Prenatal Education
I understand that every birth is unique. That’s why I work closely with you to create a personalized birth plan that aligns with your wishes and goals. Whatever your birth choices are, I support them. Do you want an epidural? An out of hospital birth? VBAC? A planned cesarean? Whatever you choose, I am here to help support that. From comfort measures to pain management techniques, I ensure that your preferences are honored and respected and if plans change for medical reasons or simply because you changed your mind, I support that too. All prenatal visits are done in your home.

In network with WA Medicaid, Tricare & United Health Commercial
I work with WA Medicaid (Apple Health), Tricare Select & Prime or United Health Commercial to cover your doula costs. United Health plans vary in doula coverage. Always check with your insurance first. I accept all of the WA Medicaid plans including Coordinated Care, Community Health Plan, Molina, United Healthcare, & Wellpoint. Note: Tricare only covers doula service for births outside of military hospitals.
