About Me

How it all started

I have been a caregiver since my young teen years. I started with taking care of my family to take the burden off of my hard working mom. My first job was at a daycare and as a babysitter as a teen. Then I became a nursing assistant and worked at a skilled nursing care facility until I finished college. After I had my own hypno homebirths in 08′ and 10′, my friends started to ask me to attend their births. It was amazing being able to give them the support they needed to achieve their birth goals.

During my own pregnancies, I had the support and education I needed to achieve my goals. Because of that, I was able to have peaceful and empowered birth experiences even when things did not go quite as planned. Who do you have to offer you unwavering support during your birth?

I am deeply passionate about supporting new families and believe that beautiful birth experiences don’t just happen, they are planned for. We all need support to get the birth experience we want. Your birth experience matters! You deserve to be respected, feel heard, and to have a calm presence to guide you and your partner through birth. One of my gifts is to be able to explain what is happening to you in a clear and easy to understand way. This is the only time you will give birth to this child, make sure you have the support you need.

I know that birth can be scary and overwhelming and I want to help people achieve the birth they want and to feel good about the choices they make. I use my own experience and knowledge as a mother and as a doula, to help families feel confident, seen and heard. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, with the right support and planning, birth can be joyful! My mission is to help other parents to have the best start they can to their parenthood journey by stacking the cards in their favor so they are more likely to have the birth they want, and getting the support they need to handle whatever happens.  Contact me to see how I can help you!

My story

Here is some info about myself. I was born and raised in Tacoma Wa and am raising my family here. My mom and I are very close and live only 5 blocks from each other. My husband and I own Aarons Lawn Care, a small family run landscaping business. We work together to service yards in Tacoma and enjoy the freedom and closeness that working together in our own business gives us. We have two kids, a dog, three rats, lots of fluffy chickens, and a large garden to work in. As a family we love to camp, go to the beach and go to Disneyland. My favorite characters are the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland and Loki. When I have free time, I love to sew vintage style clothing, go to the women’s spa, play games, and read fantasy and horror novels.
